Holiday announced for 4 March 2026

Hindu workers across Sindh will have holidays on March 3 and 4, 2026.

The district administration of Khairpur has announced a local holiday on March 4, 2026, for the annual Urs of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast.

According to an official notification, all government and semi-government offices in the district will remain closed on that day. The Urs celebrations, which mark the 205th death anniversary of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast, will begin on the 14th of Ramadan.

In another announcement, the Government of Sindh has given two days of leave to Hindu employees for the festival of Holi. Hindu workers across Sindh will have holidays on March 3 and 4, 2026.

These holidays have been announced to support both religious and cultural events in the province, showing respect for different faiths and traditions.
