Reasserting their supremacy in the global music arena, BTS has unveiled the 14-track blueprint of Arirang, a meticulously curated project poised to recalibrate their artistic evolution and enthrall audiences worldwide.
With anticipation reaching a fever pitch, the septet disclosed the complete tracklist on March 3 (March 4 at midnight KST), amplifying momentum ahead of their long-awaited collective return.
The forthcoming album encompasses 14 diverse compositions: Body to Body, Hooligan, Aliens, FYA, 2.0, No. 29, SWIM, Merry Go Round, NORMAL, Like Animals, they don’t know ’bout us, One More Night, Please, and Into the Sun.
Designated as the lead single, SWIM is expected to anchor the project’s sonic identity. The album further distinguishes itself through collaborations with an elite consortium of globally acclaimed producers and songwriters, including Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Flume, Mike WiLL Made-It, El Guincho, and JPEGMAFIA, among others.
Arirang represents BTS’ first full-length studio endeavor since 2020, underscoring the members’ profound creative involvement. RM contributed extensively across the album, excluding the interlude, while SUGA and J-Hope secured songwriting credits on Merry Go Round, NORMAL, and Body to Body.
Jimin participated in crafting they don’t know ’bout us and Into the Sun, with V contributing to 2.0 and Into the Sun.
Jungkook further expanded his artistic imprint by contributing to four tracks, including Hooligan.
Slated for release on March 20, the album will be followed by a global tour commencing April 19 in Goyang, South Korea a spectacle anticipated to reaffirm BTS’ unparalleled global resonance.
