Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected to hit Karachi, Says PMD

PMD warns of intermittent showers, gusty winds, and pleasant conditions across Pakistan.

KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is set to experience partly cloudy skies, gusty winds, and rain accompanied by thunder and lightning over the next 24 hours.

Localized heavy downpours are also possible in certain areas, bringing relief from rising temperatures and creating a cooler, more pleasant atmosphere.

Nighttime temperatures in Karachi dropped to 23.2°C while daytime highs are expected to range between 30°C and 32°C.

Northeasterly winds are blowing at 8 km/h, with humidity levels recorded at 87 percent, intensifying the overall impact of the approaching weather system.
