CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Oct, 2025) In line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, the Punjab Police is strengthening community policing initiatives. In this regard on Friday, DPO Abdullah Ahmed organized an open court at Jamia Masjid Gulzar Habib in Chiniot, where he interacted with citizens and addressed their grievances. The event, held during Friday prayers, was attended by senior police officials, including SHO Police Station City and In-charge Complaint Cell.
During the open court, DPO Abdullah Ahmed listened attentively to citizens’ problems and assured them of resolving their issues.
He highlighted the police department’s commitment to providing people-friendly services and improving public service delivery.
The mosque open court initiative allowed citizens to report social and moral evils, as well as criminal elements, directly to the police.
On this occasion, DPO Ahmed stressed that listening to the people’s problems is a Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and a key aspect of community policing.
