Proclaimed Suspect Involved In Murder Arrested From Saudi Arabia

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Oct, 2025) In a successful international operation, the FIA Interpol has arrested a murder suspect from Saudi Arabia and brought him back to Pakistan, according to a statement issued by the FIA spokesperson.

The accused, Abdul Razzaq, had allegedly killed a woman last year and subsequently fled the country.

Following extensive coordination, Interpol apprehended the suspect in Saudi Arabia and deported him to Islamabad, where he was received by FIA Immigration authorities at Islamabad Airport.

FIA sources confirmed that Abdul Razzaq was wanted by Punjab Police in connection with a murder case registered at Sohdra Police Station in Gujranwala. A red notice had been issued by FIA Interpol to facilitate his arrest.

After completing immigration formalities, the accused was handed over to the Punjab Police for further legal proceedings.
