If a viral red carpet moment sparked speculation about trouble in their relationship, Carter Reum has firmly shut it down, defending his marriage with Paris Hilton.

Following a widely circulated clip from the Grammy Awards 2024 showing Hilton seemingly turning away from a kiss, social media users quickly began analysing the couple’s relationship.

Reum, however, was quick to respond, dismissing the rumours and setting the record straight.

Taking to the comments, he described his wife as “one in a trillion” and said they are “the happiest and best couple,” adding that the moment was simply due to Hilton not wanting her makeup smudged on the red carpet.

“It’s not that deep,” he wrote, insisting that the couple remains deeply in love.

The pair, who share two children, Phoenix and London, have been together since reconnecting in 2019 and married in 2021.

Hilton has previously spoken openly about their relationship, describing Reum as someone who loves her for who she truly is and calling their love story a “fairy tale.”

The clarification appears to have put an end to speculation, highlighting how viral moments can often be misleading.
