Dananeer Mobeen faces backlash over her engagement post

Dananeer Mobeen is a well-known Pakistani digital creator and actress who became famous after her viral video “Pawri Ho Ri Hai.” She later stepped into acting and appeared in dramas like Sinf-e-Aahan, Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, Very Filmy, and Meem Se Muhabbat. Among these, Meem Se Muhabbat turned out to be her biggest success and brought her a lot of appreciation from viewers.

Audiences especially liked her on-screen pairing with Ahad Raza Mir. Soon, fans started linking the two together and even began wishing that Dananeer and Ahad would get married in real life.

Recently, Dananeer addressed these rumours in a lighthearted way on social media. In an Instagram story, she wrote in Urdu, “Meri mangni kis ke saath ho rahi hai? Mujhe bhi koi bata de. FOMO ho raha hai.”

(“Who am I getting engaged to? Someone tell me as well. I’m getting FOMO.”)

However, her post did not go down well with many social media users. The story triggered strong reactions, and several people accused her of seeking attention by talking about her engagement. Some users also trolled her for being linked with Ahad Raza Mir.
