Gold prices see modest increase in Pakistan

KARACHI: The gold prices across Pakistan’s bullion markets recorded a slight increase, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association reported that the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1, 000, reaching Rs523,762.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs857, settling at Rs449, 041 in the local market.

In addition, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs128 to reach Rs8,569, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs110, settling at Rs7,346.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices climbed by $10 per ounce, bringing the global rate to $5,010 per ounce.
