Gold, silver prices decline in global and local markets

In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2, 900, reaching Rs540, 362.

KARACHI: After a two-day break, gold and silver prices witnessed a decline in both international and local markets.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $29, settling at $5,176.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2, 900, reaching Rs540, 362. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2, 486, bringing it down to Rs463, 273.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline. The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs179 to Rs9,175, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs153, reaching Rs7,866.
