Hyderabad Lacks Proper Higher Education Facilities, Says Mustafa Kamal
In a major city like Hyderabad, there are still no adequate facilities for higher education, Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal said, emphasizing that quality education and good character are essential for a dignified society.
He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a private university in Hyderabad. Mustafa Kamal said that the opening of this university is a very positive and encouraging development.
He urged the teachers of Iqra University to also focus on building the character of their students.
The minister remarked that an uneducated person causes less harm, but an educated person without character can be far more dangerous. He added that simply awarding degrees is not enough.
He further said that society cannot progress only through education, as many people consider character a personal matter. He questioned why, when marrying off a daughter, people inquire about the groom’s family background.
Mustafa Kamal stated that when it comes to the responsibility of 240 million people, some still say that character is a personal issue.
