ICC unveils the list of match officials for India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup 2025 final


The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the panel of match officials for the highly anticipated India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup 2025 final, scheduled to take place at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, November 2. Both teams will be vying for their first-ever Women’s World Cup title, setting the stage for a historic showdown.

Eloise Sheridan and Jacquline Williams to officiate the CWC 2025 final

The ICC confirmed that Eloise Sheridan (Australia) and Jacquline Williams (West Indies) will serve as the on-field umpires for the final. The duo brings substantial experience and credibility, having officiated in several major ICC tournaments.

Both Sheridan and Williams were part of the umpiring team during South Africa’s semi-final victory over England, where the Proteas pulled off one of the tournament’s biggest upsets. Williams also stood in the high-stakes group stage match between India and South Africa, showcasing her ability to handle pressure in closely contested fixtures.

Sue Redfern (England) will take charge as the Third Umpire, handling all television referrals and technology-assisted decisions. Redfern has built a reputation as one of the most reliable officials in global women’s cricket, with years of experience in both ICC and domestic tournaments.

The Fourth Umpire role has been assigned to Nimali Perera (Sri Lanka), while Michell Pereira (Sri Lanka) will act as the Match Referee for the final. Pereira’s inclusion ensures a balanced, experienced panel with representation from multiple cricketing nations.
