Indian Neena Gupta sparked pregnancy rumours at the age of 66. The speculation gained momentum after Gupta attended a wedding reception in Hyderabad for actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, Neena Gupta dismissed the rumors with her characteristic humor, saying, “This is all I need, a real-life Badhaai Ho.” She clarified, “There is no Badhaai Ho. I am not pregnant. The truth is that the saree material was thick, which made me look bulky at the event.”

Gupta also took a light-hearted swipe at the online chatter, adding, “But I must say, I love all this speculation about my pregnancy at my age. It shows we are evolving as a nation.”

Gupta was romantically linked with West Indies cricketer Viv Richards in the 1980s and raised her daughter, fashion designer Masaba Gupta, as a single mother. In 2008, she married Delhi-based chartered accountant Vivek Mehra.
