KARACHI: A player from Islamabad United sustained a serious head injury during net practice when struck by a ball.

During a practice session in Karachi, a player from Islamabad United, Mir Hamza Sajjad, was injured when he was struck on the head by a ball.

According to an official statement from Islamabad United, the incident occurred during a net session, prompting the immediate suspension of training.

Mir Hamza Sajjad was quickly moved to a hospital, where he is under the supervision of Dr. Owais.

The team confirmed that he has regained consciousness and his condition is improving.

The Islamabad United management stated that both officials and teammates are praying for Hamza’s full recovery.
