Nubia Neo 5 pro introduced as a budget gaming phone

Nubia has introduced the Nubia Neo 5 Pro in the Philippines, targeting the mid-range segment with features focused on gaming performance, touch response, audio, and cooling.

The Nubia Neo 5 Pro comes with a large 6.8-inch OLED display that offers 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth performance for gaming and everyday use. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor along with features like a gyroscope and accelerometer. The phone is available in black and white colors, although official images of the white variant have not been released.

For gaming, the device includes shoulder triggers for better control and features Magic Touch 3.0, which keeps the screen responsive even with wet or oily fingers. It also has an AI-based anti-mistap system to avoid accidental touches.

The phone runs on MyOS 16 based on Android 16 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. It offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

To enhance the gaming experience, it includes a Z-axis linear motor for better vibration feedback and a large VC cooling system to keep performance stable during long gaming sessions. It also comes with dual stereo speakers supported by DTS X Ultra for improved sound.

In terms of camera, the phone has a 50MP main camera with a 2MP secondary sensor, while the front camera is 16MP for selfies and video calls.
