Pakistan Back On Path Of Stability, Says Rana Tanveer

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Oct, 2025) Federal Minister for National food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain on Sunday said that the government was committed to harnessing modern technology for agricultural development and national progress.

According to a private news channel, he said that the government has rescued the country from the brink of default and put it back on the path of stability.

He added that continuity and stability in governance would transform Pakistan into a strong and thriving economy.

Answering a question, he said that Afghanistan must not allow its soil to be used for terrorism against Pakistan, warning that such sanctuaries were “completely unacceptable.

He said that while Pakistan desired peace and prosperity in Afghanistan, the neighbouring country should not become a proxy for India.

“Afghanistan is our brotherly Islamic country, but allowing Indian influence or terrorist activities from its soil will not be tolerated,” he stressed.

The minister said Pakistan had resolved to completely eradicate terrorism and would take necessary steps to protect its people and sovereignty.
