Pakistan, Iran stress stronger economic ties in Dar–Hemmati deeting

The meeting took place during the high-level negotiations being held in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD:  Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdolnaser Hemmati met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on the sidelines of ongoing Islamabad talks.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the meeting took place during the high-level negotiations being held in Islamabad.

During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of continued engagement and close coordination between the two countries.

The spokesperson added that the two leaders agreed that regional peace and stability are essential for enhancing economic cooperation and achieving shared progress.
