PM Shehbaz reaffirms Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the government and people of Pakistan will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters.

The two leaders held a telephonic conversation to discuss the ongoing regional tensions. According to an official statement, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reiterated the country’s full support in the context of recent attacks.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on the Al-Jaleel oil facility in Saudi Arabia, stating that the government and people of Pakistan will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters.

He emphasized that Pakistan will stand by Saudi Arabia just as the Saudi leadership and people have supported Pakistan during times of difficulty.

The Prime Minister commended the restraint and wisdom demonstrated by Saudi leadership amid the current regional tensions.

Shahbaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan is playing an active role, working alongside other countries to promote peace and stability.

He also briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions, which were appreciated by the Saudi leadership as part of Pakistan’s contribution to restoring regional peace and stability.
