Qamar ul Islam Meets Federal Tax Ombudsman, Discusses Customs Facilitation – CustomsNews.pk Daily

Islamabad: Mr. M. Qamar ul Islam, Honorary Advisor to the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), called on Mr. M. Zafar ul Haq Hijazi, Federal Tax Ombudsman, at his office in Islamabad and extended warm congratulations on his appointment.  

During the meeting, the two dignitaries held detailed discussions on the role of the All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) in streamlining customs clearance processes. They emphasized the importance of APCAA’s engagement with key stakeholders to facilitate trade and address challenges faced by the business community.  

Mr. Qamar ul Islam also invited Mr. Hijazi to visit Karachi, an invitation that was graciously accepted. The visit is expected to further strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the country’s commercial hub.  

Legal Advisor Mr. Almas Ali Jovindah was also present at the meeting.
