Shaheryar Chishty appointed acting chairman of K-Electric

KARACHI: The Board of Directors of K-Electric Limited (KEL’) has appointed Shaheryar Chishty as the acting chairman following the resignation of foreign chairman Mr. Mark Skelton.

According to a notice submitted by K-Electric to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the board held a meeting on March 17, during which it decided that Shaheryar Chishty would assume the responsibilities of the chairman in Skelton’s absence.

The notice stated that Chishty has previously served as an alternate director and will now temporarily hold the powers of the chairman until April 2, after which a new board will be elected.
