US extends visa appointment cancellations in Pakistan until March 13

The United States Embassy in Islamabad has announced an extension of visa appointment cancellations across Pakistan.

All immigrant and nonimmigrant visa interviews scheduled from March 9 through March 13 have been canceled as part of the extended suspension.

The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad will continue to serve U.S. citizens requiring routine and emergency services. All immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments are cancelled for March 9-13. Officials confirmed that while routine and emergency services for U.S. citizens in Pakistan will continue, affected visa applicants will be notified by email with instructions on how to reschedule their appointments.
