He said that agreements had been reached on many issues with Iran, but no consensus could be achieved on the uranium matter. Trump added that Vice President J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner conducted the negotiations very effectively. He claimed that Iran handled the talks poorly, but had sent a message showing eagerness to reach a deal.
Trump made it clear that Iran would never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and said that nuclear material would be taken from Iran. He stressed that the United States would not allow any country to engage in blackmail.
