125 Hindu couples tie the knot at mass wedding in Karachi

The vibrant event saw 125 Hindu couples from across the country solemnize their marriages in a single, grand celebration.

Karachi: Under the patronage of senior parliamentarian and prominent minority leader Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, the Pakistan Hindu Council, in collaboration with the Dr. Prem Kumar Sital Das Memorial Trust, hosted the 19th annual collective wedding ceremony at Railway Ground, Karachi.

The vibrant event saw 125 Hindu couples from across the country solemnize their marriages in a single, grand celebration.

Couples, along with their families and guests from Sindh and other provinces, were provided special transport, including buses and vehicles, to reach the venue.

The grounds were adorned with colorful lights and elaborate decorations, while attendees were welcomed with traditional shehnai music, drumbeats, and cultural dances. Comprehensive security arrangements ensured a safe and orderly environment throughout the ceremony.

Addressing the media, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said, “Helping couples establish a home is among the highest acts of virtue. Assisting deserving families in beginning their married lives brings immense spiritual satisfaction.”
