PM Shehbaz holds key talks with US Presidential Adviser in Türkiye

Two sides discussed broader regional dynamics, Pakistan’s peace initiatives, and ongoing diplomatic engagements.

ANTALYA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos in Antalya on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where discussions focused on bilateral relations and the evolving regional situation.

During the meeting, Massad Boulos conveyed greetings and best wishes from former US President Donald Trump. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation and addressing regional developments.

The Prime Minister expressed his good wishes for US President Donald Trump and recalled his cordial relations with him, while also appreciating Trump’s leadership in helping secure a ceasefire during heightened tensions between Pakistan and India.

He also acknowledged the US role in facilitating a successful ceasefire in Lebanon and emphasized Pakistan’s continued efforts for peace and regional stability.

The two sides discussed broader regional dynamics, Pakistan’s peace initiatives, and ongoing diplomatic engagements, including talks in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underscored the importance of further strengthening Pakistan–US relations, particularly in trade and economic cooperation.

Massad Boulos conveyed President Trump’s goodwill message for the Prime Minister and appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.

He also reiterated US interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan in counterterrorism, economic development, and addressing global challenges.
