Child Abused And Shot In Baffa, All Three Accused Arrested After One Poses As Witness

MANSEHRA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Apr, 2026) In a shocking incident within the limits of Police Station Baffa, a child was subjected to abuse and shot in the abdomen.

Baffa police have arrested all three accused following a meticulous investigation, which also exposed an attempt by one of the injured suspects to mislead the police by posing as an innocent eyewitness.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on April 24, 2026.

Initial investigations revealed that the Primary accused, identified as Usama, son of Saleem, forcibly took the child and abused him. Subsequently, two of his friends including Kabir and Naseeb Zad arrived at the scene and also attempted to abuse the child.

As per the victim child’s statement, an argument broke out among the three accused at the scene. During the altercation, Kabir opened fire on his own companion and then shot the child in the stomach with the apparent intention of killing him.

In a bid to evade justice, the injured accused presented himself at the hospital as a passerby and tried to mislead the police. However, thorough investigative work led to the arrest of all three individuals.

The police have registered a case against them under sections pertaining to attempted murder, rape , and the Child Protection Act. The injured accused is currently receiving treatment at the hospital under police custody.
