Online streamer and influencer Braden Peters, widely known as Clavicular, has been hospitalised after a suspected overdose during a livestream, prompting concern among viewers and raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The episode occurred on Tuesday evening while Peters was broadcasting live. The stream came to an abrupt halt after viewers observed unusual behaviour, with footage later circulating online showing him appearing visibly distressed and gradually losing responsiveness.
In the clip he can be seen placing his hands behind his head as individuals around him attempted to assist and asked if he required water.
Emergency services were reportedly contacted at approximately 5:46 PM local time with dispatch audio referencing a “20-year-old male overdose.” Peters was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently reported to be in stable condition and receiving medical care.
Additional videos shared on social media appear to show him being assisted into a vehicle as emergency responders arrived at the scene. However, authorities have not issued any detailed official statement regarding the incident at this stage.
Clavicular has built a notable online following through content focused on “looksmaxxing,” a trend centered on improving physical appearance. While some aspects involve conventional self-care, Peters has faced criticism for promoting controversial and extreme practices.
The incident follows a series of recent controversies involving the influencer. He recently exited an interview after being questioned about his views and alleged associations, and reports suggest he has also faced scrutiny in connection with other incidents, including an ongoing investigation and prior legal matters.
As of now, no official statement has been released by Peters or his representatives regarding the situation. Further details are awaited as the matter continues to unfold.
