K-Electric confirms appointment of Shaheryar Chishty as new Chairman

Karachi: The Board of Directors of K-Electric has formally appointed Shaheryar Chishty as the company’s new Chairman.

The appointment was approved during the Board meeting held on April 15. The formalization of the process follows the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) conducted on April 2, after which the leadership transition was completed.

The company has instructed TRG certificate holders to be duly informed of the development. The Pakistan Stock Exchange has also been officially notified regarding the appointment.

Earlier, Shaheryar Chishty was serving as interim Chairman following the resignation of former foreign Chairman Mark Skelton.

Prior to this, he had been serving as an alternate director and was subsequently entrusted with interim leadership responsibilities.
