The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has announced that the spectrum auction for next-generation mobile services, including 5G, will take place on March 10, 2026.
In a statement, the PTA said the schedule was finalized after detailed consultations with stakeholders and coordination with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure a transparent and smooth auction process.
The authority said the timeline gives telecom companies and potential bidders enough time to prepare and reflects its commitment to encouraging maximum participation while meeting all legal and procedural requirements.
The PTA advised interested parties to review the Information Memorandum for NGMS/5G in Pakistan and stay updated through information available on its official website.
