ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Saudi Arabia on an important official visit, marking the beginning of a multi-country diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening regional ties.
The prime minister is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey from April 15 to 18. He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
During his visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime minister will hold high-level meetings with the leadership of both countries to discuss bilateral cooperation, as well as regional peace and security.
In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Turkey to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
On the sidelines of the forum, he is expected to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other global leaders.
