PM Shehbaz meets Turkish FM Fidan ahead of Antalya Diplomacy forum

Hakan Fidan, Shehbaz Sharif hold talks on sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

Istanbul: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during his visit to Turkiye.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting.

Hakan Fidan warmly welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and thanked him for participating in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The Turkish Foreign Minister conveyed that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is looking forward to meeting the Prime Minister on the sidelines of the forum.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and traditional hospitality.

“I am pleased to be visiting my second home, Turkiye,” said the Prime Minister.

“The opportunity to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum and meet President Erdogan is a source of great pleasure,” he added.

World leaders and senior government officials will convene in Türkiye from today April 17 to 19 for the fifth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, a major international gathering in the southern Mediterranean city focused this year on managing global uncertainty.
